That's my number on the Ravelry list.
Sigh.
The good news is the last time I looked, I think there were over 8,000 people ahead of me in line.
There are now only 2,829 people ahead of me.
Considering I signed up at the beginning of July, that's not bad.
But will I ever be ready to flash the stash? I don't know that I can be that honest with the world, much less myself.
And Jean's worried about six bins? I won't tell you how many bins I've got in my walk-in closet. You know, 5th Amendment right to not incriminate myself and all that. Let's just say that the majority of my estate when I pass on will be fiber. Let's hope any heirs are worthy of the stash.

So did you enhance the stash at Wisconsin Sheep and Wool? I did not make it thank goodness since it avoids all the justification in my own mind that takes place after such an event. Let me know when you make it to ravelry.
Sue
Yeah, Sue and I are awaiting your arrival on Ravelry...I signed up on June 12 and got my invite on August 12. I started to enter my stash but decided it was too much work...and did I really want to know how much I had anyway?
As I have no heirs worthy of my stash, shall I leave mine to you?
Hey Sue - no, I didn't go to the WI Sheep and Wool festival. I thought the same as you - if I don't go, I don't have to go through the process of justification. Funny how I can always justify a yarn purchase - no matter how big the stash! They might discontinue this color...I have to support my local artists and their hand-dyed goods...I don't have THAT much sock yarn in the stash, ahem, besides sock yarn doesn't count...(fill in your own here).
Maureen - I'd love to be your heir. On the other hand, I'm not sure how DH would react to that - I'm not sure I could justify having to move to a bigger house - then again, that stash acquisition would be free. Although before I say it's free, maybe I'd better start researching estate tax and all that! :-)
