It was completed in early December but I was unable to take a decent photo of it until I had light and DH's help. (Thank goodness for Ravelry - now he thinks I'm just taking photos to document my projects there.)
Here's a close-up of the pattern.
I love the colors in this scarf - they are so bright - a lovely spot of the tropics in the midst of winter. It's made with Patons Soy Wool Stripes. The end result is very soft but it's a bear to rip back when a mistake is made.
I finished the Diamond Modular Scarf during the Iowa Caucuses coverage which, while exciting, was not as exciting as the close finish I had with the yarn. This is what was left.
There was a lot of curiousity on the part of the cats during the photo shoot. I had a hard time getting a picture without one of them in it.
Click on the picture and take a close look between the slates of the bannister.

Kate,
I love the scarf and shawl. The colors on both are just great. The cat paw on the stairs is priceless. My cats used to love helping me with my knitting too.
You made some nice purchases at the Fold on New Years Day. Don't you just love that she has Blue Moon. I think that is right.
I cannot believe Brian does not know about the blog.
