Oh, glorious day!
The camera shop called today to say my camera has been repaired and is ready to be picked up. Although I may have to wait until Saturday before I can get there as they are located about an hour's drive from work and they close at 5:30 p.m. during the week. But even this little blip in the road towards reunification with my camera is not enough to dull the excitement!
Just in time for my fiber adventure at the end of the month.
I am in the second week of the new job. So far, so good. I haven't had time to unpack boxes, etc. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to set up my office. The office is located in a very new building and some planning idiot put the outlets for the phone on one side of the room and the computer on the other. I'd like to be able to answer the phone while working on the computer without careening across the room in my chair. Plus, I need to acquire some non-state issued furniture to soften up the room and I won't be able to do that until July.
I can't wait to get my camera back as I've got some finished objects to photograph and share.
Although this now means I've got to block the items I want to photograph.
OK, that dampened my enthusiasm.
T-pins, anyone?
