Shaking Hands

It's been awhile since I've posted which means it's been extraordinarily busy at the Haus.

Work was very busy because I was preparing to be on an extended unpaid leave of absence until November.

And, no it's not what you think - no one at the Haus is expecting a baby.

But, if you are tuned in politically, you'll realize that November, especially the 6th of November, is an important date. August 14th may be another important date, if there is another contender in the field I'm pursuing.

I won't be talking much about my efforts between now and November in this forum. I prefer to compartmentalize certain areas of life and this is no different. Plus, if I'm successful in any primary and then in November, I still won't be able to discuss the specifics of my work due to the ethical rules by which attorneys must abide.

My posting may be spotty between now and November. What I can share, I will. In the meantime, I'm attending local events in the county and trying to meet my neighbors (and make up for the isolation that was the result of 3 years of commuting).

Who knew one could be so busy when not working?!
