The Other Hobby

During the stifling heat of summer, it's hard to find one's knitting mojo. I prefer to knit with wool, but when it's over 90 degrees in the house, knitting holds no appeal.

So, I decided to bring out the cross stitch WIPs that have been "on the hoop" for a long time.

Why is it that, whether it's knitting or cross stitch, the finishing is the most tedious part? It is because the light at the end of the tunnel is so close and I only want to be done?

What do you do when its too hot to knit?

Have a beer and sit on the patin with the fan on, and pray for a breeze.
