The Best Laid Plans

So I've been thinking about sweaters - specifically knitting sweaters for myself. I would really like to knit at least 3-4 that I could wear to work.

But since moving into my new office in early January, circumstances have forced me to re-think the possible patterns.

Because when I go to work, the first thing that happens is that I open a window in my office. In the middle of winter. Even during snowstorms.

I work in an historic building (old building, old steam radiators). My office is usually between 80-84 degrees.

This is the temperature in my office - after my window has been open all day.

But I get a chance to cool off at home while sitting in our drafty living room. Right now I'm wearing fingerless mitts and have a cowl pulled over my head as I type.  I'm not sure if the temperature in the living room is really that cool or if the sauna that is my office is thinning my blood.

Maybe linen sweaters?

Mmm...perhaps you could knit dress guards?
